hi guys, i was wondering what stationery that you'd recommend, as i'm based in asia,
i'm wondering what cool products you guys have too that i might consider using in the future.
i just felt like sharing the stuff i own too, so this is kind of a review
and hopefully everyone benefits from it.
currently, i own:
• kokuyo beetletips, softcolor:
really nice, for people who like mild colors,
best on paper. 8/10
• zebra optex care:
bright in color, works great on glossy textbook pages.
on paper it might be darker, especially blue and purple ones.
pens, sizes 0.38 or 0.5, i don't use 0.7 or 1.0
• uni-ball signo rt, 0.5:
best on paper, on textbook pages they smudge.
kind of thick for fine writing, 0.38 might be better. 7/10
• uni-ball signo um 151, 0.38:
really great!! and it works on all kinds of surfaces. 10/10
• muji hexagonal ink gel ball point 0.38:
kinda pointed and sharp but releases too much ink for me,
despite being 0.38; a bit disappointing for muji. 5/10
• uni-ball sxn-155 0.5:
a ball point pen, writes very smooth and rarely blots.
my most favorite pen!! 11/10
• uni laknock fine:
ball point pen, very smooth writing and consistency as well,
but sometimes it seems to lack in ink. 7/10
pencils, and misc items
• uni kuru toga 0.5:
a mechanical pencil that has lead and revolves it,
continuously sharpening it every time you lift it off the paper.
i guess it's a 7.6/10, really good for drawing on
drawing paper as well but can smudge.
• pentel ain 0.5 lead:
lightweight packaging, but i use it on my mechanical pencil.
when on drawing paper it smudges, just wondering if there
is a better brand, 7.5/10
• muji pencil sharpener:
very tiny and convenient, what can i say?
• radar plastic eraser, model s-80
great for erasing and extremely efficient,
though if you use star art or tokushu sketch books
it might be better to use a black eraser
for cleaner erasing, or the faber castell grey one, idk..
otherwise for school use, 9/10
• tombow adhesive stick (glue stick)
blue in appearance; although i haven't used it yet.
how adhesive it is, i'm not sure, but it seems promising
and reliable. ?/10 (could you rate if you happen to own one? thx)
•kokuyo one patch stamp, psm10p
most unique thing i've purchased this year,
kind of pricey but its main purpose is to protect
the two holes on your paper when you organise them
into your binder as they can easily get damaged over time.
the one i've bought is pink... looks like an asthma breather...
very, very handy but expensive, 9/10
